At any rate, Zell am See in Salzburger Land is a cycling paradise. At an altitude of some 800 metres you get to enjoy longer tours on an everyday bike, a race bike or on an E-Bike. The Tauern Cycle Path is several hundred kilometres in length and runs from Pinzgau to Passau. Countless signposted routes and trails are cause for celebration during mountain biking in Zell am See, after all, the epic mountain panorama is your constant companion. If you are on a road bike and heading for Tyrol or want to tackle the Kitzsteinhorn while mountain biking in Zell am See, you will be overwhelmed by the landscape. Experience a bit more action in Bike-Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm and Bikepark Leogang, which are just a few kilometres away. There are freeride and downhill routes of all difficulty levels to choose from here.

Our tip: On the cycle path from Zell am See to Krimml you get to experience a variety-packed landscape up close and enjoy joyous Alpine moments, in their pure form. Cycle at a leisurely pace to Krimml and travel back down in comfort again on the Pinzgaubahn cable car.
